Model Love: Crystal Renn

The uber fabulous plus size model, Crystal Renn, is featured on this months Size issue of V Magazine. The magazine featured the model in a shoot that sent the message that designer trends can look great on any size. I love Miss Renn. She is gorgeous and after struggling with her weight at a young age, she is known for over coming it and loving her body for what it is. She is natural and beautiful and has made her claim in the fashion industry by being true to her self. Renn has released a memoir, Hungry, about her struggles. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Valerie's Blog captured an amazing photo shoot from the February issue of Cosmopolitan. Soo L.A. shows how you can get the latest Nautical trend. The Cut talks to the Gossip Girl stylist, Eric Daman, about how he makes the cast look so fab. Fashion Gone Rogue gets the skinny on the new Spring line for Trussardi 1911. And Rubies Funky gets patriotic.

Celebrity Spotlight: Zoe Saldana

I have been a fan of the beautiful Dominican actress, Miss Zoe Saldana, way before Pirates of the Caribbean and Avatar. She had me at Center Stage. Now the actress is reaching super stardom and has been looking amazing at every red carpet event. I am blown away by her classic ladylike style. Her street style is very simple but chic and when she steps out for an event she puts on the glam with sequins, shine and sexy heels. Zoe was quoted in an issue of Women's Health saying, "I love wearing men's clothing and underwear. I just feel so sexy in jeans and a man's shirt. Plus I love black, red. I love solid colors that say 'I'm here; I'm strong.'". As the new face of Avon, the star is on her way to becoming the next celebrity trend setter.

Style Spotlight: Designer Melissa Coker

Melissa Coker is the designer of the line, Wren. Elle Magazine has featured the designers style on their website. I am loving her Bohemian Chic style. She is not afraid of color, texture and prints and she displays this by mixing them all together in one look. This Madewell Denim jacket paired with a Katy Rodriguez dress is one of my favorites. Check out Elle for more looks from the designer.

Cover Girl: Heidi Klum

Ah Instyle is the best. It is my favorite fashion magazine out there. Elle Magazine is ranked right up there but InStyle gives more practical advice and is more financially friendly. This month the magazine has featured the forever perfect Supermodel Heidi Klum on its cover, just in time for the premiere of Project Runway. The show airs on Lifetime this Thursday! Don't miss it or the issue on stands Friday!

Cover Girl: Christina Aguilera

The voice is back! Christina Aguilera is appearing on Marie Claire's February issue. The photo shoot is channeling vintage Christina with a glitter threaded wardrobe and soft makeup. She is looking pre-"Dirty" and "Back to Basics" when she was a teeny lil 19 year old with just a big voice. Aguilera talks about her new album in the article and I am overjoyed with excitement! I have been waiting for this album for so long. Get a sneak peak of the interview and grab the zine on stands now!

A Little McAdams Love

I just love this woman. She's so elegant and damn talented. I don't know what she is wearing in these pics from the Vogue shoot but she looks fabulous and a gal can always use a splash on lace. Rachel is promoting her new movie Sherlock Holmes. I just saw it last night and like she does in all her films, she rocked.

Celebrity Spotlight: Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester is not only setting trends on the hit show Gossip Girl as the bitchy Upper East-sider Blair Waldorf but the star is setting trends on the red carpet as well. Meester has been catching my eye all year. Her looks are always sexy with an edge. She loves to rock black but you can't go wrong with it and when she throws in spalshes of color it's always the right shade like the electric blue tank she wore at a recent event. Check out some of my favorite looks and some Polyvore sets for ways to get her look.

Blog Connection

It's blog time again. Updates have been minimal with the holidays but still dome great stuff was salvaged. Who What Wear caught my eye when they chose Amber Heard as the Girl of the Month. The Cut got the skinny on Chanel's new ad campaign and Lindsey Lohan's new line. And Barbie steps into some Louboutins. Her an JLo must be tight girlfriends.
