Project Runway Season 7: Episode 2

Congrats to Jay! I love his winning look. This week the show challenged the contestants to make party look out of a potato sack. I thought most of the contestants did a fabulous job and I totally agree with Heidi, Nina and Michael that Jay took the cake. Sad to say Miss Pamela did deserve the right to go home after making her model look like 20 lbs overweight. That is a fashion No, No. I will only wear clothes that make me look thin and feel fabulous! Even though her dye job on the garment was beautiful, making a design unflattering is unforgivable. Auf Wiedersehen.

Olivia Palermo in Love

Elle Magazine has featured Olivia Palermo and her hunky model boyfriend, Johannes Huebl on their website. I love this woman's style and can't wait for the next season of The City.

Mango Spring 2010

Mango, the line headed up by actress Penelope Cruz, is about to launch there Spring ads. Curvacious beauty, Scarlett Johansson, is still the face of the brands and she is looking stunning in florals and a fitted trench dress. I can't wait to see the full ads!

Liv Tyler for G-Star

Liv Tyler is the new face of G-Star denim jeans. The beautiful actress looks amazing in the ads and will be the starring role for the brand through the fall. This Dutch label has recruited Tyler in hopes to branch out to the American demographic. With ads like these, they have got my curiosity running. How about you?

Model Love: Crystal Renn

The uber fabulous plus size model, Crystal Renn, is featured on this months Size issue of V Magazine. The magazine featured the model in a shoot that sent the message that designer trends can look great on any size. I love Miss Renn. She is gorgeous and after struggling with her weight at a young age, she is known for over coming it and loving her body for what it is. She is natural and beautiful and has made her claim in the fashion industry by being true to her self. Renn has released a memoir, Hungry, about her struggles. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Celebrity Spotlight: Zoe Saldana

I have been a fan of the beautiful Dominican actress, Miss Zoe Saldana, way before Pirates of the Caribbean and Avatar. She had me at Center Stage. Now the actress is reaching super stardom and has been looking amazing at every red carpet event. I am blown away by her classic ladylike style. Her street style is very simple but chic and when she steps out for an event she puts on the glam with sequins, shine and sexy heels. Zoe was quoted in an issue of Women's Health saying, "I love wearing men's clothing and underwear. I just feel so sexy in jeans and a man's shirt. Plus I love black, red. I love solid colors that say 'I'm here; I'm strong.'". As the new face of Avon, the star is on her way to becoming the next celebrity trend setter.

Style Spotlight: Designer Melissa Coker

Melissa Coker is the designer of the line, Wren. Elle Magazine has featured the designers style on their website. I am loving her Bohemian Chic style. She is not afraid of color, texture and prints and she displays this by mixing them all together in one look. This Madewell Denim jacket paired with a Katy Rodriguez dress is one of my favorites. Check out Elle for more looks from the designer.

Cover Girl: Heidi Klum

Ah Instyle is the best. It is my favorite fashion magazine out there. Elle Magazine is ranked right up there but InStyle gives more practical advice and is more financially friendly. This month the magazine has featured the forever perfect Supermodel Heidi Klum on its cover, just in time for the premiere of Project Runway. The show airs on Lifetime this Thursday! Don't miss it or the issue on stands Friday!

Cover Girl: Christina Aguilera

The voice is back! Christina Aguilera is appearing on Marie Claire's February issue. The photo shoot is channeling vintage Christina with a glitter threaded wardrobe and soft makeup. She is looking pre-"Dirty" and "Back to Basics" when she was a teeny lil 19 year old with just a big voice. Aguilera talks about her new album in the article and I am overjoyed with excitement! I have been waiting for this album for so long. Get a sneak peak of the interview and grab the zine on stands now!
