Zac Posen for Target

Shut the front door! The man who dresses stars like Natalie Portman and Sarah Jessica Parker has designed a line for Target. His look book was released in January but I am here to remind you that it will be available to the masses this month! On April 25th we can all wear his designer duds. Alice in Fashionland

Over the weekend I saw Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Not only was the film fantastic but the costume design was a-maz-ing! My eyes were watering at every change of thread Alice went through from scene to scene. Costume designer Colleen Atwood had actress Mia Wasikowska looking as if at any moment she might leave this "Wonderland" and go to the runway where she belonged. I was so inspired by the cuts cinched at the waist, the lace and the ruffles and the lovely fingerless gloves. It was all so yum. If you have no desire to see this film, at least go see it for the fashion. Images from the film are minimal but here's a little taste.

I am kinda in love with this set. The sultry pictures of Ed Westwick help out too. Spring means trench coats and I love this one featured here. Denim is in the trend spotlight at the moment and this dress is a perfect way to execute it. I'd wear this outfit on a date with Ed any day, but then again I'd wear whatever he wanted me to.
